A couple hours left of this year and im sitting in the subway heading to Skanstull. Probably i should think about new year promises, but i haven't figured out any yet. Execpt going on diet but that started two days ago allready :)
How has 2008 been? Well,pretty interesting. General Wireless was bought and i started to work at Mobispine, i was abroad working 4 months,Obama was elected as president and i met my wonderful girlfriend :). Ok, a lot of other things happend as well . Now i have big expectations for 2009. Most important is work and that my girlfriend goes to school. Lets see.

Friday funny friday
Nice it's friday. It's been a hard week with a lot of work. As ussual :-)
But i like it, i really get to show my knowledge every day. But enough of work
Now i have 11 days left in Romania. It feels strange. I have 11 days in Romania and 14 days before vacation. That will be soooooooooooo nice!
I planned the trip with my girlfriend and this is our plan :
Now i must book the tickets and hotel rooms. Interesting compared that i earlier only layed on the beach in Phuket.
Ok, im lazy, that's it for today. But here is a picture of current me :-)

Long time no blog
Im lazy or the reason why i didnt write that many blogs last weeks was that i didn't have my computer with me. I did some cool tries on blogging with my mobile. I did one from the Airport yesterday but communication failed when i wanted to publish it. Stuppid internet? Phone? Airport? Me?
I dont know and i dont care. The only thing i know now is that im in Romania again and its cool. I was home in Sweden one week and i started to miss all the cars and traffic. And Ursus as allways. The office in Sweden is located in Söder and its extremly nice to walk there because no traffic. Not the same as Romanian office.:-)
As i wrote in my last blog i got a new phone, wenät from Ericsson to Nokia and its working. I have GPS on it and i really like that functionality. Too bad i can't use it in Romania, datatraffic costs 140 SEK/MB :-)
Otherwise not that much to report. One month from now i go to thailand and meet my girlfriend. That will be nice. When i come back 21:th November she will come with me, that is even nicer. After the Thailand trip there might be a company trip, lets see about that.
I try to be active and make some Youtube videos, i know my fans out there want's to see them :-)

First from mobile
Now im in sweden and it feels strange after been in Romania 3 months. Traffic,people ,buildings,everything is different from romania. In a good way. And im going there one more month soon. Plan was to go back yesterday but because of a cancelled meeting i go back next monday instead.
Otherwise it has been as regular: a lot of work but a new office.

Friday is a Sweden day
Finally that day comes, the day when i go to Sweden and meet my family, friends, working people and just talk swedish, breath Swedish air! Fantastic!
Friday morning 6:30 my flight is leaving from Cluj.
But no vacation, i will be heading to the office and there is some interesting meetings planned.
Friday evening i probably go out and meet some friends and fix some paper works. Saturday Rebecka, my sisters daughter has birthday so i will be spending that day with family. I bought her some really nice clothes, i think she will like even though she can't speak yet :-)
My stay in Sweden will not be that long. I will come back to Romania next Thursday and will be staying here a month. As i might have explained in earlier blogs we had a talk with my CTO about me staying here one more month.
It ok for me, i really like Romania. And after that month i go to vacation and to see my tirak in Thailand. I miss here so much.
Tirak is darling in thai :-)

Another day, another hangover
Ok, i had a party yesterday at my place. It wasn't that big party but we sat here drinking some alcohol and listening for music. After that we went into city to a place called After Eight. Its pretty cool place but yesterday it was little bit too crowded.
This whole week has been a big party. My CTO Andrew came visiting us and he slept on my sofa. So, working days where extremly long and each evening ended with beer.
And we had a major harddisc failure on thursday ending in our Mobile News Reader not working for two days. We learned that we need to understand and prepare for disasters.
On he eSMS side its much more stable because all systems are distirbuted and we use a big company that provides us the hardware. But you can never say never. But i guess i just did.
Next week friday i'll be heading home to sweden. It will be extremly cool to meet family and friends. My sisters daughter has one year birthday on 27/9 and that will be cool! :-)
Otherwise i hope this next week will be much more easier and that workdays are not that long.

Soft sunday, prepared for the week
Today it was a fantastic weather, about 30 degrees and sun. In the news they said yesterday that there would be rain but they where wrong :-)
I watched Formula 1 today and it was so interesting! I'm a Räikkönen fan and i thought he would win today but something happend in the second last round and he drove out! Or not something, it started raining and they had wrong tires on their cars. Bad luck, i guess Hamilton will win this year. He is really strong.
Ok, now to another thing. I just dont understand why i haven't been using Youtube before! It's soo cool and easy to add content. Today i walked around in the city and took some movies. Soft day, better than last saturday
Ok, today i had a good day. I woke up early, did some cleaning , called my girlfriend and after that went shopping. And the weather is extremly nice. I think its like 30 degrees and its September allready! As i understood its 10 degrees and cloudy in Sweden.
I told you in my first blog that i was planning to run half marathon in Stockholm. That should have been today but because my foot is still not good i can not run. But i called my friend Diego and said good luck man!
I started to add some content on Youtube. First video is from my Romanian home so people can see how my apartment looks like:

Hello hospital, here i come!
And ones again i needed to visit the hospital.
On sunday my stomach really got fucked up and until yesterday it didnt get better so i went to the hospital, again :-)
Bogdan from office drove me and it was pretty cool when i could show where the hospital is .
The doctor told about some EU-card. It's not a credit card but some kind of healt security card and good to have when going abroad in Europe. It did answer my question if i have insurance here or not.
Otherwise week has been pretty good. A lot of work as ussual and a lot of trouble at work, as ussual :-) But hey, who said it would be easy.
Only things is that i miss my girlfriend a lot now and i hope time would fly by so i can see here again :-(

Worst hangover ever
I did something unplanned yesterday, i went out for a beer in a cool place called Janis pub.
It ended with like three tequila , 10 vodka sprite, some beers and worst hangover ever!
But i had a good time.Working day had been pretty bad with a lot of small bugs and errors that made me frustrated so it was pretty relaxing to have some party. And i got to meet some cool people. For example old employees from Mobispine, some others working with computers and a lot ot others i just dont rember i never met. I took some pictures but unfortually my bluetooth is not working so i can't upload any images.
If i get it working i put theme here.
My friends in Sweden went to a cruise with Silja Line. I took a look on the pictures and they seemed to have a good time, but little bit tired the day after. That happens after you pass 30 years of age.
Today we planned to go out as well but it canceled because nobody could come. Probably a good thing because i really need to recover my energy.
Tomorrow the plan is to do some cleaning and some reading. Lets see if i can manage that.

OK, some status updates:
It's still warm every day. In sweden i guess you have like 25 degrees one weekend, we have 30, EVERY DAY! :-)
I had food poisoning two weeks ago. My tip is to stay away from the kebab.
Some guys from the office over here went to Sweden and lived in my apartment. They really enjoyed Sweden:-)
I've been here 8 weeks and 4 left to go but still no visitors. Lets see if someone finds tickets.
Otherwise not that much to talk about. All days are about work, days tend to be long. But i enjoy it, the company i work for is extremly cool. Probably you are using some of our products, for example eSMS or RSS reader for your mobile. I forgot , the company is mobispine

Parking in Romania
OK, last week i got my tooth fixed. What a relif. It demanded a root filling but the dentist did a great job and it all cost 50 EURO! Try to get that in Sweden!
My foot has still not recovered and my half marathon will be on side as a spectator. Too bad but probably i get some motivation to run whole marathon next year instead.
I must mention some cool stuff about Romania that i thing is funny: The roads are so small and there are so many cars! So, where do the cars park? Offcourse on the sidewalk! And where do all the people walk? On the big road offcourse !! That wasn't so difficult was it? :-)

More pain
OK, my ankle is still hurting. Now its size is about a golf ball. I guess it takes about two more weeks before i can walk normally with it.
I thought that i had enough pain but no. Yesterday one of my teeths stared to hurt and now it hurts like hell. Bad luck or what, already spend a fortune at the dentist.
What i wonder is if i should wait until i go to sweden or if i fix it here.
Another thing is that i miss my tirak :-)

Accident in Romania
Maybe i didn't mention it before but currently im located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania because of my work. Plan is to educate people down here and get some projects up and running.
And that means a lot of sitting. So, to get some exersice my collegue Calin asked me if i wanted to play football with him and his friends and im like :"why not". Now i know why not!
We came little late and got involved in the game directly and i got a offensive position that includes a lot of running. 10 minutes in the game i step wrong and twisted my ankle pretty bad. Didnt want to dissapoint the guys so i stand as goaly instead.
Morning after i needed to visit the hospital, my foot was of the size of a balloon and now there will not be playing fotboll in couple of weeks
Two good things in all this:
1 - I learned that during emergency visit you dont need to pay for medical care in Romania. Thats better than in sweden.
2 - My team thought i was the best goal keeper they had :-)
